1942-1945 U.S. Navy during World War II as a USS Farragut radar man
Awarded Purple Heart for his service.
1950's Joe was a furniture salesman selling to schools and churches.
1960-1962 Learned basics of enameling
1962-1965 Studied with Harold Martin for in-depth enameling techniques
1965 Worked with Mr. Tweeters from Thompson Enamels
1966-1970 Developed his own techniques using Multi Torch Enameling
Design & Develop numerous enamel mixes and enameling tools
1970 Joe and his wife Lois started teaching and selling Joes new creations
1972-1974 Continued traveling and teaching with the World Art Tour
1976 Opened studio in Clearwater Florida
1975-1981 Full time residence artist at the World Famous Kapok Tree Restaurant
1981 Moved and opened new enamel studio in Safety Harbor Florida
1988-1990 Exclusive Agent for United Productions Entertainment & Music
1991 3-Day workshop at the Enamelist Society Convention Covington, Kentucky
1993 Limited Edition Bosai Tree Edition 250 made International Bonsai Convention
2004-2009 Consultant Hydrogen Technology Applications

2015 Moved and opened a bigger studio in Pinellas Park Florida
2016 Studied Ikebana Floral Arranging
2016 Continued teaching until his journey to heaven
